I found those garages in a pretty unspectacular street on the German island Sylt. All of them were closed, there was nobody around – and that’s the perfect picture to start thinking about what’s in the garage, who the owner is….

One of my trips to Berlin led me to the recently closed Tempelhof airport. I know this airport when it was still operating – and seeing it now completely shut down was just a very interesting experience.

The “haus der kulturen der welt” is a pretty frequented place in the center of Berlin. If you avoid the main entrance and just talk a walk around the impressive building, you’ll find the emergency exit with it’s perfect symmetry.
